Welcome

Welcome to Education open-source:

Education open source is a platform to provide Quality education for those who can't afford it.

The quality standards of education open-source have been accredited ISO and as a member of bilateral mutual agreement the organisation is approved through out world.

1) Research aim

The research aim is to design a efficient and cost effective training system which uses risk management, validation, deviation management ,quality control and comparing results with the traditional training systems in India which lacks efficient quality management system in place. Here we will be desgining a training programme for a course clincal trials quality assurance management using ISO 9001:2008 quality standards and collect the trainee's feedback on the quality embedded online training system in Higher education.

2) Expected out comes

  • A website with a training system
  • Feed back on the training system from the trainees

Feedback on:

  • Is training system better than the training system what they faced previously
  • Is embeding quality assurance in education good to improve knowledge and skills
  • Is e-learning with quality elements better than classroom learning

3) Defining the problem:

At present, Quality Education is very expensive and unavailable to everyone who need it. If quality education has been provided to all those who need it, it could have provided many scientists and researchers

4) Elaboration of the issue:

There is a concern for several organisation to provide education to all. Open educational resources(OER) was started to provide education materials available to all, the problem is that they don't have Quality training system open to all as these organisation were limited to provide the materials but not to give certifications or credits. But credits and certificates are pre-requisites for higher education. research or even for jobs

4.1) Limitations of current training system:

No real thoughts , no real lessons : In present training system they have pre-defined syllabus, which the trainers force on the learners.Learning is not from the thoughts they have developed. Even though they sign up for the programme with their own interest, situation changes when they start their training the situation changes due to the following reasons:

Assignments systems: Existing training system purpose of homework's is mostly not defined, they don't understand the purpose of work, they just complete it on force.

Attendance systems: Most training system have Pre-fixed timetables, no matter how much interest the learner has, he have to attend the class at that particular time and with out self-interest learning capabilities automatically decrease.

Number of students: With increase in population demand for quality learning has proportionally increased as a result many institutes providing quality education adopted competitive exams to admit students, so with present training systems, limited students are getting a quality education depending on their financial and quality/knowledge of previous education

No real time experience: University degree isn't considered as real work experience in terms of industries and employment agencies, this is a serious draw back, since working in the subject for several years is considered a fake experience or isn't considered as real time work experience

4.1.1 Financial limitations:

Now a days scholarships or financial aid happens to be one of the basic need for survival in case of many young talented and aspiring students who are facing financial problems in their life, throughout the world. Unfortunately large number of students cannot pursue their education in their area of interest in good university mainly because of unaffordable tution fee. This is where scholarships happens to be only ray of light to achieve what they want. There are large population of students who cannot make it in to the scholarship list because of their average academic performances but they have the zeal to pursue higher education.

Many universities offer scholarships or financial support to home students and international students in different number of ways. Universities have their respective eligibility criteria for scholarships.

In developed and under-developed countries most of the universities offer scholarships to students based on their level of education they are pursuing in respective university and merit. They provide financial support to students in ways such as in-house scholarships, federal scholarships, individual state sponsorships, athletic scholarships, student loans, international student scholarships and other scholarships by conducting competitive exams. In general, local home students have more sources of getting scholarships when compared to international students.

Where as in India some universities offer financial support to students based on their caste like schedule caste( SC ), schedule tribes( ST ), backward castes( BC ) and other castes( OC ). The amount of scholarship they receive also depends on which caste they belong to.

Sophomores are awarded scholarships based on their previous academic performances and results in competitive exam they clear to get admission in university like GRE, TOEFL,CAT,GATE and IELTS. Many educational institutes provide scholarships to students in the semester or year they excel and if they are not consistent in their performance in next semester or year they may be stripped of the scholarships.

Many universities spend quite considerable portion of their resources in providing financial support to students. Few universities get funds from external sources like government and other sponsors.

4.1.2 Quality limitations:

Non validated approach of training and assessment systems: University degree doesn't have a validated approach, which means qualifying university modules doesn't mean real qualification, person has to undergo several interviews for different jobs or for higher education. Every university or school has its on policy which is not even considered as a standard by other. Moreover these systems don't adopt scientific approaches like

1) How long can a learner is capable of listening

2)Which training methodology can provide maximum learning ability

3) Using latest methodologies of research, which means educational research is not synchronized with training methods and time lines.

Timelines, processes and assessment are based on comfort and availability of trainers/student but not on the basis of studies/research.

Risk management approach: There is no proper management which can analyze the risks with skill-gaps of the students its management and prevention

In-process controls: There are no proper measures to track the progress during the lecture, In most schools assessment is done after completion of the module

5) Reasons for above limitations

Due to increased demand for quality education, the Quality institutes cannot take all the students so they select the students in financial basis or previous educational skills. Lacking previous educational skills shouldn't mean that they should get quality education and lacking finance doesn't mean that shouldn't continue further education

6) Severity of the problem

This problem is more severe in under developed and developing counties, advancement of the region, country or world depends on the advances in science and technology which has a direct relation with extent of quality education they get. As a result many countries are remaining in developing state for several decades, in-order to make them developed quality education is important

7) Justification of research

In-order to make this world advanced, it is necessary to make people to get quality education available., with present training methodologies it is very difficult to provide quality education available to all, hence there is a necessity to research on a system which could provide quality education available to all.
